The Titans’ Watchers served as Azeroth’s guardians after Titans departed. These massive beings maintained order for millennia. This exploration examines Watcher lore and their ancient duties.

Watcher Origins
Titans created Watchers from stone and metal to guard Azeroth. Each Watcher received specific portfolio and responsibility. They maintained Titan facilities across the world.

Odyn served as Prime Designate leading all Watchers. His facility Ulduar imprisoned Yogg-Saron primarily. The other Watchers served under his command initially.
Major Watchers
- Odyn: Prime Designate, Ulduar overseer
- Ra-den: Keeper of Ulduar secrets, corrupted
- Thorim: Storm keeper, betrayed by Loken
- Freya: Nature keeper, resisted corruption
- Mimiron: Technology keeper, inventor
- Hodir: Ice keeper, frozen in time
Watcher Facilities
| Facility | Watcher | Location | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ulduar | Odyn/Ra-den | Northrend | Old God prison |
| Uldum | Ra-den | Kalimdor | Origination control |
| Temple of Storms | Thorim | Northrend | Storm observation |
| Life Pool | Freya | Northrend | Life preservation |
| Forge of Origination | Multiple | Uldum | World reset device |
Modern Status

Most Watchers were freed from corruption during Wrath expansion. Thorim and Freya resumed their duties after Yogg-Saron’s defeat. Odyn remained separate in his Halls of Valor.
The Forge of Origination remains Azeroth’s ultimate failsafe. If world becomes too corrupted, it can reset entirely. The Watchers guard this power hoping never to use it.
